Nothing is more traditional for someone who grew up in Salvador than eating a tapioca pie with coffee at Savoy. My mother always brought it for me whenever we passed by Avenida Sete. I still come here occasionally, and the pie is still the same!
Great food and excellent service. The space is small and cramped. Great for grabbing a pie or savory snack in the late afternoon.

Excellent snacks! I've been a regular for over 40 years. I'm 53 now. My favorite is the tapioca pie, mmm... but today I had the walnut pie. The lemon juice is always a refreshing choice.
I went in the early hours of the day, it was empty and very quiet. I recommend the "pão delícia" (delicious bread), which comes very well filled and always runs out early. I recommend it if you need a complete breakfast, with couscous, cheese, fruit... The price of the mixed sandwich is overpriced, it's not worth it.
I arrived after 3 PM and still found good food, a fresh salad, and a reduced price. Excellent.
